About Us
Foundation is a collaboration between regional lumber and building material associations. In 2020, the groups decided to join together in their efforts to offer customized online education for their members and the industry as a whole. Because we serve independent lumber and building material dealers, we are familiar with the unique challenges our members face and are designing our courses with those specific educational needs in mind.

How We Got Started
So online learning isn't a new concept, right?
As technology has advanced and having information at your fingertips has become more of an expectation than a luxury, we decided to take some of the content we have offered to our members and convert them into courses suitable for online consumption.
Not quite as simple as it may seem.
We needed a studio. And some equipment. And a staff person to manage our projects. And hours upon hours of filming and editing and tweaking and finalizing have led to the launch of Foundation -- our online learning system designed specifically for the building materials industry.
We are excited to share with you some valuable tools you can use to train yourself and your employees and help expand your knowledge as well as your bottom line.
